I have a Masters degree, have taught writing, have had a collection of poetry published, I write reviews for publication, and have been an editor. Would you hire me for say $20 / hour to proofread / edit papers, creative writing and the like? This would go beyond only grammar ... but content critique and suggestions, etc. Basically, I would be a personal editor to a student or writer. Also; I know a great deal about the publishing process and the publishing world to help an aspiring writer.

I've put in 6 years of study at USC School of Pharmacy to obtain my Doctorate in Pharmacy Degree. During that time frame, I was hoping to find someone from my classmates to be a potential soul mate since the laborious hours of study would create confidence with a fellow colleague. So the next logical step was to search from the outside. On my first attempt in exercising my candor, the first three women knew I was a PhD holder in Pharmacy. Yet to my surprise, the relationship only lasted a few weeks. At a second attempt, I decided to maintain a low profile. I did not disclose my actual status but somehow these girls were good Sherlock Holmes. So from the aforementioned scenarios, how can I avoid any type of behavioral ennui? From what I've experienced, does destiny determine our faith? Anyone with the background or expertise provide me a feedback. Please bear in mind that I maintain a low profile. I take the person for who she is and educational accomplishments does not matter to me.

Situation:
I'm finally turning 16 on September 10th.
I haven't legally been allowed to get a job anywhere until I turn 16, due to insurance purposes I've been studying to become a WEB-DESIGNER & I think there is alot of potential there. It's a great opportunity but the problem is... that I have 2 options, I can either study really hard and be patient, because it will take me another 2 months or so to finish my certifications for WEB DESIGN, so I wont be able to get a job or a pay check for about 2 months after I turn 16. OR I could go get a job at a store working part time, while maintaining my schedules so I still have plenty of study time as well.
( I've already graduated high school, I was homeschooled )

What should I do?
I want money now, I want experiences.. I want to live & learn.
Should I get a job now working for some retard at a store,
Or should I just be patient, & keep studying until the web design pays off ?! Any input is great :) Thank you!

CSUF is on State College Blvd.
Western University College of Law is across the street on State College Blvd.
Hope International University is across the street on Nutwood Ave.
How did it come about all of them border each other on each side? CSUF was first in 1957. Why did the other schools build so close? Was there not enough room somewhere else in Fullerton or North OC? Does anyone know why? Please help.

I graduated high school in 2000. I went back to school this summer.. I started at my local community college (and a very impressive one at that). I am going for my Associate's Degree and this fall I am taking 4 classes. I got an A in the one class I took this summer.. but one of my classes this semester is completely overwhelming. The information I am learning is exciting to me, but I am striving for As in every class. I really want to pass, and learn the information in the best way possible. I have index cards, which I know is a good start, but I need a METHOD to learn and memorize the material. Not only that but I want to impress my teachers, and I definitely want to impress myself. So how do i start attacking this work load I have? I also work full time and I have a boyfriend.

I am looking at a couple culinary schools right now. The New England Culinary Institute which is rated as one of the best in the country, The Scottsdale Culinary Institute in Arizona, and the Art Institute of San Diego. Right now I live in Massachussetts but my dream is to work in San Diego. The best school is probably the one in New England but it is all the way up in Vermont. I guess what I want to know is, is there really that much of a difference between schools?

i'm a freshman at an international school in shanghai. but everything taught is american. i made varsity rugby and my parents think that after school sports are a complete waste of time because it doesn't count as credits. i'm trying to tell them that being on a sports team will help me get into a good college, especially if i do the same sport for four years because that shows dedication. i have excellent grades and always get a+'s sometimes b+'s. there's a huge tournament happening in hong kong and our team was selected to attend it. but my parents think that i'm justing going for the fun of it. i don't think they understand how important being on varsity is seeing as neither one of them ever did sports in high school. so can someone help me think of something to say to them that will persuade them that being on the rugby team will help me get into a good college or help me think of something to say so that i can go to hong kong for the tournament?
