Hello my name is Christopher Baird i am 25 planning attending college next year. I have some Questions.
1. Should i make saving money a priority or should i let financial aid take care of everything?
2. I did very poorly in High School should i take some classes or tutoring to get ready for college?

1. To be honest, at your age, being frugal should be a top priority. Financial aid has to be paid back in the future, and by the time you're outta there you'll be 30. Life gets more expensive as you go. Enjoy yourself, but on a small budget.

2. Just jump in and study hard. There will probably be resources on campus to help you out. But... if you are going to be taking classes that build on what most people learn in high school (science, math, etc.), you might want to pick up some books and try to refresh yourself or gain a preliminary understanding.

First, don't give your full name out on the internet.

Anyway, you may want to wait till you know what courses your'e taking so you know what to get tutors in. It's crucial to get the tutor in the beginning of the course so you can get a good level of understanding of the "basic" level of that subject and can move from there.

I would only use Student Loans on a need basis. I made the mistake of getting all the loan money i could (and partied also) and owe way too much now. Get what you NEED, get a part time job, try to get some grants. Whatever you do, organize your money if you can.
