It's getting really bad. In high school and my first quarter of college, I never had to study and I got As and Bs. Especially if its something that's boring or something I'm not interested in, I just CANT concentrate on it and it's going to screw me over. I'll read twenty pages and not even know what I read. I try going to the library or quiet places.. I just get distracted and antsy. And I have a statement logic class that I just DONT get, and my final is next week. If I dont ace the final, I will fail the class. It's really easy for my friends in that class, but I just look at those symbols and am clueless. It's so frustrating, I hate getting bored so easily and not having a clue whats going on. I'm not stupid. What the hell is wrong with me and why cant i just study and get sh*t done? what can i do?

What are fraternities and sororities for anyhow? Seems to me like alot of them (not all, but alot) are kind of uppity and think they're better b/c they're a member of a fraternity or a sorority. I've been hit up numerous times to join a fraternity but I wont b/c of some stuff that I know goes on at frat parties (drinking, sex, etc.) stuff that is immoral. I just wondered though what the purpose of them is?

Coz I notice that a lot of people who are not really intellectually inclined at school often opt for psychology... That kinda makes me think twice in taking psychology. =/ (I mean, employers and society would think that you're just "average" too!) In your opinion then, do you think that it is a "prestigious" major like law/medicine, or is it just an easy way out?

The whole world will tell you "Go to college, get a degree, and be able to do WHATEVER you want for a living" But the truth is, most people graduate with a degree and find themselves $200,000 in debt and realize that no jobs exist in the field they studied. Is it true? People just want your money? People are lying to our kids so these schools can CASH in on us?

Colleges and universities have a standard tution rate and fees (w/o the financial aid, loans, and grants). However, once you transfer your credits from an associate's degree over, isn't the tuiton rate standard supposed to lower accordingly to the number of credits transferred?

Is there a website that will show me the average salary difference between someone who has a Master's degree in Marketing and someone who just has a Bachelor's degree? I'm not looking for job differences in salary, just how much average salary difference a Master's degree will add.

I really enjoy psychology and health. But I don't know if I should major in it. I heard that people with psychology degrees have a harder time looking for a job. I was thinking of majoring in nurse because there's a high demand of them right now. But then again, I would only be doing it to get a good job. Should I be majoring something I'm interested in?

It is my dream to make it to Penn University! I live in Missouri. I am an A+ B+ student (mostly A's) I am in all advanced classes. I run Cross Country. I will be in NHS next year and doing community service for it. I am Vice President of an Explorers Club outside of school. I'm involved in Readers Theater and Speech and Debate. I'm taking French and Tech Edu. next year. I am soon to get a job also. I am interested in going to Penn's school of Engineering. I plan on trying to go here then working as a Disney Imagineer. I am only a Freshmen but I know I must start now. I don't have everything planned out yet, but I am still working on it. Do you think I have a chance at making it? What could I do to improve my chances? Any advice given from someone who has gone to Penn or anyone would be great! Thanks!

Right now I am a senior in high school. I plan on going to a community college this fall and then maybe in 2 years transferring to a University. The problem is I don't really know what I should go for. I thought about photography and web designing. But I don't know how that will go for a career. I want to do something that involves traveling, because that's what I love to do more than anything. I live in Florida right now. Any suggestions on a career? Or one that I don't know about? I had passed in my english exam but due to improper presentation my teacher failed me by 5 marks.
After hearing about what had happened to me my parents and friends have started to make me feel inferior and they have stopped encouraging me to perform well.Instead they point fingers at me like as though i have commited a crime.Now Im undergoin serious trauma as it is the first time in my life that I had failed
