I just got accepted into NYU, and since I'm a graduate student I didn't think I'd want to live on-campus (which may have been a bad idea!). Where are good areas to live in if I am going to be going to NYU? I want a mostly-safe area, that I can easily get to and from the village, & that won't cost me over $2000 a month (if possible!).

Thanks :)

I have a little trouble choosing my science courses over my High School Junior and Senior Year. The choices are AP Chemistry, AP Biology, and AP Physics. For Junior year, I can choose AP Chemistry or AP Biology, and for Senior year, I can choose the previos two or Physics. I'm thinking with going with AP Physics for Junior year, but what do you think I should pick for my other class? I want to be a doctor and go to a medical college, so what's reccommend?

Could anyone give me an idea for a short film (on anything) which should be around 10 minutes? But the content could be good, but not just anything or something random. Could be a a current issue...

Over $600 worth of books, in excellent condition went back today, only get me a measly $90 and the guy had a really crappy attitude to boot!

I was paid in CASH and given no receipt or breakdown of buyback amounts, etc. Do all schools do it that way?

Out of the seven graduate schools I have applied to I still have not heard from the one I want to go to the most. Is this a good or bad thing? (PhD program in History)

I am a focussed and motivated student at Syracuse University. I have the chance to be a Finance, Accounting, and Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises triple major in the Whitman School of Management, which is ranked 42nd in the country by BusinessWeek.com. Or, I have the choice to be a Public Relations, Television Radio Film (Management), or Advertising (Management) major in the SI Newhouse Communications School, which is one of the top schools in the country. Whichever choice I take, I feel may change my life down the road one way or another. I am not so passionate one way or the other about the subjects, I am just a focussed student. Which path do you think I would be better off taking? Should I transfer for Boston College if I get the chance? Please state your expertise or background when answering the question. Thanks so much for your help, this is one of the biggest decisions I will have to make. THANKS!

I have always enjoyed solving math problems. Science, however, did not really interest me a whole lot. Communicating with people is one of my weaker qualities. I am pretty good with computers, but would not like to work solely on a computer for my career. Is a type of engineering the best choice for me? Or perhaps something that uses only math is a better choice? Please leave your input. Thank you.

I am about to go off to college and am deciding where to go. I don't really want to leave home and am considering C.W. Post, but my mother wants me to go to Drexel because of its better reputation. But its farther from home and I will have to go to classes all summer my sophomore year because co-op is required for 6 months of my junior year. As I hope to become a graphic designer, my question is that when I go to find a career in this field, will the chances of my getting the job strongly rely on where I recieve my degree between these 2 schools? And what do you guys think of Drexel or Post if you know anything about them?
