Well, you seem to know what your interests are, so that is a start. Educationally there are many areas of study such as business or hospitality mgmt, but I would suggest calling your local university and set an appointment with an education counselor. These people are trained to assist you in finding what is right for you.
Have you considered working for an airline or a resort?
Good luck! :)

You do NOT need to make this decision right this second. Pick a school and go! While you are there, try out different subjects for a year or so and see what you like. In fact, a lot of students really screw themselves up by going into college already "knowing" what they want. Then they waste a lot of time in that area before they realize they really didn't want that, or they find they like something else better. Being right on track when you first start college works for some, but it is not for everybody. Get into a school and take a variety of courses. Before you are ready to transfer to another school, odds are you'll know what it is you really want to do.
I wouldn't pay much heed to what people suggest for careers. The important thing is to find what YOU like. No one here knows what you are interested in or how you work or think. The best thing to do is to try some things out for yourself and see what best suits you.
Good luck!

The community college you attend will have a test that you can take that will assess you interests & strengths. It is about 200 questions. For example, do you like to work with small tools? 1 for No!!! and 5 for Yes!!! or 2,3 or 4 dependent upon your interest. They tally all the information and provide a detailed report that will highlight your interests and careers that would interest you. You probably don't have to wait until you are enrolled to take the test. Your high school may have one.

Well, that is a good question unfortunately only you can decide. I live in Tennessee and we have a program here that helped me get more ideas . I have been in college for 2 semesters and I am already planning on changing my major for the 3rd time. Here is a good website to help you decide it tells what the job outlook and salary outlook will be or are. That way you can get an idea what would be best for you. http://www.bls.gov/ (I suggest checking out the link that says Occupational Outlook Handbook). Hope this helps.

Well, you can do a few things.
Talk to your counselor and get her input.
Take a career assessment test. Google "Free Career Assessment" and I'm sure you can find something.
Consider joining the Peace Corp, being a missionary, or flight attendant. (Although, being a flight attendant doesnt pay much and the most you may see is the airport and a hotel room)
Good luck and follow whatever dream you have. I love travel too and know how important it is to the soul!

If you like to travel join the military and sign up for the GI bill for college money. This will help you save money for college while you decide what profession you want.

I am a senior also. I suggest you don't think about it and take the basic courses which are needed for every major. You don't have to pick a major until the end of your sophomore year.
