I swallowed three pills out of a bottle of sominex in my room mate's dresser drawer. Now he tells me that's where he was stashing his mescaline. Is there any way to save myself from the fear?

I am writing a research paper on the affects of cigarette sales on our economy, and the potential disaster of banning smoking in the U.S.

Concidering that our economy depends very heavily on the monetary support of cigarette sales, as well as the monetary support of the manufacturers, both from a job-producing and contribution standpoint, would you feel that a national ban is a good idea or bad idea?

Please answer only once, as I may relist question several times to conduct a thorough survey. Thank You very much for your answers, and your 2 cents.

(I will also welcome any personal opinions on the subject, as you may state a point I have not yet concidered, on any aspect of the topic. It could prove to be vital in my research, and including in my paper. Again, THANK YOU!)

It has to be an online school and unfortunatly it cannot be like a state university. The state universities usualy require you to come in and take placment tests and exams. I cannot do that because I will be constantly moving from state to state.
I am looking into American InterContinental University And Kaplan University. I don't know much about what to look for in an online school. Please help if you know about these schools, have another sugestion or any advice. thanks

Ok, so this probably sounds silly, but my best friend is in med school. I moved away about 2 years ago and make it back to my hometown (where she goes to med school) about once or twice a year. Anyhow, I'll be home in March for about 5 days, and I called her to let her know I wanted to see her! Her response? "Oh, that's too bad that I won't be able to see you. I have the boards coming up, and I'll have to study." I asked her if she could take even just ONE HOUR to see me and she said that she wouldn't be able to--that she couldn't take any time away from studying. She said I just didn't understand because I wasn't in med school. I understand the boards are the most important test of her life, but this is the second time she's claiming to not be able to see me because she has to study.

So, is this reasonable? Or am I right to feel hurt and be a little angry? Thanks for your honest opinions! :)

I know the question could sound stupid but I'm only 15 give me a break please. I kind of grew up poor and I try really hard to get smarter and stuff cause I don't want to live in the ghetto like my friends do. They're content living that way but I want to do something different with my life. It's just that I try so hard in school and the teachers just..I go to a decent school now and it's hard for me to understand some things. I want to pursue a medical career as an Anesthesiologist in Japan or India. I currently live in the United States and just speak english fluently. Some people have made fun of me and said that I'll probably end up in a community college at the most or drop out like the rest of my friends and it's not fair. I also heard about something known as MBBS(Master in Biology and Bachelor in Sugery). The thing is though I am not sure I am smart enough to do so. I don't know how to get better I don't understand some of the material..please joyce_travieza@yahoo.com

I'd like to meet up with him to catch up, notify him of what I'm doing, and talk about my future grad school goals. Any idea as to what is the most polite/most common way to write this kind of email? I'd appreciate your help!

I hate this kind of stuff and not good @ it, so that's why I am asking. Should I just go straight to the point, or should I start off with the "long time no see/hope you're doing great" crap?

I have tried everything from calling the US department of education to the educational statistics organization. If you could give me a link that has this information it would be greatly appreciated.
