I know the question could sound stupid but I'm only 15 give me a break please. I kind of grew up poor and I try really hard to get smarter and stuff cause I don't want to live in the ghetto like my friends do. They're content living that way but I want to do something different with my life. It's just that I try so hard in school and the teachers just..I go to a decent school now and it's hard for me to understand some things. I want to pursue a medical career as an Anesthesiologist in Japan or India. I currently live in the United States and just speak english fluently. Some people have made fun of me and said that I'll probably end up in a community college at the most or drop out like the rest of my friends and it's not fair. I also heard about something known as MBBS(Master in Biology and Bachelor in Sugery). The thing is though I am not sure I am smart enough to do so. I don't know how to get better I don't understand some of the material..please joyce_travieza@yahoo.com

Hi, I admire your determination to succeed. My recommendation would be to take things one step at a time. You would be in high school at the moment, make sure you choose lots of high-level science and math courses that will prepare you well for university. Study hard and see if you can get involved in activities at your local universities, this will allow you to meet other bright students and get a better idea of what happens at uni. At most unis you have to have done another course before upgrading to medicine, choose a science course and try to get experience in labs and hospitals even if it is volunteering. Experience means a lot when you are looking for work. Make sure you spend plenty of time preparing for your medical entrance exam so you ace it.
Best of luck to you, hope this helps.

For starters.....nothing is "stupid" if you are trying to better yourself through education. It is rare for a 15 year old to already have a career plan. Not sure why the international thing is so important though. Sounds like you maybe need some extra tutoring to help understand some of your classes better. Ask your teachers if you think you might need some xtra explaining or tutoring or maybe pair up with classmates that are wanting to get more out of school than just the social aspect of it. And by the way......nothing wrong with community college. A great and much less expensive option to get most of your general education credits out of the way. Good luck in your pursuits and who cares what the others think. They will probably work for you someday.

keep on track

dont have kids

get a job and establish contacts with people that might be willing to give you advice and be your references when you apply for college.

you may get to college and figure out that you would rather study chemistry or biochem, technology, teaching, engineering, or something you have never dreamed of.

If you really get on track you can start taking community college classes while in high school. maybe you will go to community college or maybe you will get into a decent school. you will meet some people with your work ethic and drive and they will help you push yourself possibly. plenty of smart people waste it by not trying and being apathetic. Try to enjoy life and learn as many different things and take in opportunities when they come. plan as much as you can a year or two years in advance, but dont try to think too far ahead or you might make mistakes.

Anesthesiologist? dont go into medicine if you dont like the blood and guts. but you are aiming high.... its a good sign.

Yes, I believe there shall be nonhumans in Heaven. This is proven in scripture, which speaks of beasts across the throne of God giving compliment, and in addition describes how animals will reside peacefully with one yet another within the New Jerusalem.

I thought that you went to college to get intelligence or at least that's why I went to college.
