I have a hard time finding a job because I don't have a college degree and I really want to be a film editor but I don't think you can be one without a college degree. But I'm scared to go back because of MATH!! I have a huge phobia of math, allergeric to math, no matter how hard I studied, I just could not understand it. I'm afraid they won't let me graduate without anymore math classes. I think I need a year or two more years before I can graduate but I don't want to take a math class in college! I won't be able to do any good even if I studied harder. What do I do?

I am mentioning that my main decision to apply to this school is that it provides so many career routes and opportunities because of the campus network of neighboring facilities and programs and it will essentially better myself regardless of my chosen career path.

I am trying to rephrase " better myself"
Instead maybe "enhance my academic standing and character" ....regardless of my

Would just like a second opinion thanks

I attended a community college for 3 years. Two years to get the degree I originally went into college for (Computer Science), and an extra year for a completely different major, Electrical Engineering, which on its own it usually takes five years to complete for most students.

This is my fifth year in school, the second at a public university. And as of now I'm looking into at least two more years till I complete my engineering degree. However, my debt as of now is in the 20-25 grand range. But, I have maxed out all my government loans and I'm looking into private loans to cover the cost for the next two years.

My question then is what is a reasonable amount of debt for a college student to get a bachelors degree? Is $50,000 too much money for a recently college graduate?

It sounds like it is a scam in my opinion. The website they have looks like a high school kids job www.weybridgeuniversity.org. There is no credibility to go after. They offer bachelors and masters degree certificate depending on your lifetime experience? Anyone has joined this degree program? How realistic is this so called organization? Please answer what is your opinion about this?

I've completed by LSAT and gotten all my info together but now it's February and I've missed a few scholarship deadlines at schools I want to apply to. Should I just wait until next year? And, if I do, does it look bad that I had to take an extra year to get my stuff together?

What's the reason to consider 1st world countries to countries such as Canada, Australia or New Zeland. Those countries don't have important industries such as electronics or automovile industries. They don't have petroleum or some really importan source of wealth such as an important production of gold or silver.
Shouldn't those countries be consider 3rd world countries?

I am 26, and live in Ontario, Canada. Currently I work as an admin assistant and make about 32,000. As my salary isn't ideal, i was thinking that maybe I should go to university. Does anyone have any advice on how I can afford to do this? My income is low enough that I should qualify for OSAP, but what should I do about where to live, and should i get a car? Has anyone else decided to go back to school at 26? Will I be the old person in the class? Any and every advise is helpful! Thanks.

Also, does anyone have any suggestions on some high paying careers that don't require 10 plus years of education? I thought about being a teacher (I know they only make about 50,000) but that will still mean 5 years of school.

My high school Grades are about average (about 70-75%). My college grades are really very bad(50%).
I have been researching on a Perpetual - self sustained power source for the past 5 years ,with considerable success .Do you think my research work might help me in the admission process?(Given the fact that my academic performance is close to nothing)
Will I be eligible for any kind of scholarships?
