Hi..
I am an Undergraduate/ International Student.
I am 20 years old and am an Electronics Engineering student in India.
I will be transfering to an American College ,this Fall..
My high school Grades are about average (about 70-75%). My college grades are really very bad(50%).
I have been researching on a Perpetual - self sustained power source for the past 5 years ,with considerable success .Do you think my research work might help me in the admission process?(Given the fact that my academic performance is close to nothing)
Will I be eligible for any kind of scholarships?

Thank You very much for your time..

Man, that's pretty bad. Has anyone actually accepted you yet?

You may want to just come here and start over. Enroll in a junior college/community college and then transfer to a 4 yr university to finish that EE degree.

If you can somehow find a company to sponsor you based on your research, you might get some help. Otherwise, you're not going to find much in the way of scholarships. I'm not too clear on the requirements of international students, but you may want to check to make sure getting a student visa or admittance as an int'l student doesn't require you to show you've got income to support yourself.

There aren't a lot of scholarships for international students, and those that do exist tend to be based on merit. If a scholarship is a must, you'd want to apply to less competitive engineering schools, which may be glad to have you, rather than more competitive schools where you'd be one average student among many great students.
