Higher Education (University +) - December 2006

i have no idea where to start. i dont even know what college to go to. graduation is comming so fast. It'll be here b4 i know it and i still dont know what to do.

So I recently decided to go back to school, and started in the 2006 Spring semester at my local JC. I have my eye on UC Berekely because they have an awesome psychology department! (which is what I want to major in)

I know I won't be able to transfer for a while, but I was wondering what other criteria (besides good grades) can I do to make me an ideal transfer student? I've been doing volunteer work for a while, but is there any other activities that I should be involved in that might interest the admissions people?

I have an AA degree in Business from an online college and 43 credits from another community college. Am I considered an undergrad? I want to go to school now for Elementary Education. My 43 credits, were towards an AAS in Business Mgmt. I have done all GE classes, the leftover are core. Should I start with AAT or go straight for a Bachelor's?

Here's my dillema, and i would just call the counselor but they are out for x-mas break, so here ya go:

I am wanting to do the LVN program at a community college. It says that the prerequisites are PSYC, BIOL I and BIOL II. The applications for the program are accepted in the spring and that is when I would take my prereqs and then the program starts in the summer. Will I be able to take the biologys at the same time? Or maybe will they let me start the lvn program while i finish the second biology? Also does anyone who has taken the lvn program know about how much the whole thing cost them?

The university i want to go to, is my dream University. Film Production. I've applied and everything, sounded really determined. I'm just worried that they won't want me.
