You missed all of the application deadlines. My advice would be for you to enroll in your local community college and get a part time job. It'll keep you busy.

First of all, chill out. While highschool graduation seems HUGE at the time, its just the beginning. If you have been accepted into a college, pick one. Remember you can always transfer if you hate it. Pick a college by looking at the classes they offer (in every discipline you think you might be interested in) and see which school seems to have the most classes you'd be interested in. Also, look at which campus has a good balance of all the things you want to experience (study abroad, social atmosphere, sports, whatever..). No matter what school you pick, it will have good and bad, and your experience will depend on what you go out and try. Unless you are absolutely positive about what you want to do as a professional, which obviously you don't, pick a school that is primarily liberal arts, that way you can try everything. Don't pick a school based on who you know who is going there. If you haven't gotten into a college, get a job based on any experience you have, and take some courses from a community/junior college. And then apply and go to college. You will struggle if you don't and will regret it, even if you HATE school. It is possible to succeed without a degree, but if you don't have a strong drive in a particular direction it will be harder than if you just get that little piece of paper. Most people graduate college not having a clue what they want to do. My advice... go to college, study abroad, take every class that sounds remotely interesting, and enjoy life. Life is all about figuring it out as you go, so enjoy the journey as much as you can and try everything you can while you have the opportunity. Believe me the next 4 years will go by faster than you can ever imagine.....

Some of us like to think that you don't find your work, your work finds you. Don't know what to do? Presumably, you must make your own way in the world, so get a job. Observe the people around you and how you interact. You will discover the things that seem to be easier for you to do than others, and it may very well be that will give you an indication of where your talents lie. Take some junior college classes. Some subjects will just seem more interesting than others. Learn to be adaptable, because nothing is as certain as change. I think that it is unreasonable for everyone to HAVE to know what they want to do with the rest of their lives at your age. Worry about something else. Things could be worse - you could be a freshman at a university, taking classes (and burning up money!) because that is what everyone does, and perhaps falling into the bad habits of so many unmotivated students.

Your guidance counselors have failed you. Is there no teacher or parent or aunt or uncle who has been trying to help you gain focus and get a path started? If not, seek one out. If you can decide what college to go to, you can get lots of help there in deciding a career path and a major after you've taken the basic courses everyone needs for all degrees. Don't panic. There's still plenty of time, but you DO need to step up and take responsibility for your life at this point. You need to start by taking a self assessment of what makes you happy and what you are good at. This is what people should do for a living. Some people forget that it's very basic and they end up doing something they hate and spending a lot of unhappy time. Do some soul searching now. If you can, talk to some people who do jobs you might be interested in. Ask a lot of questions about it, and ask them what course of education you need to do their job. This will be a good start. Don't be shy about asking. People will be flattered, and they will think you are really smart for doing it.

Whats your true passion in life? A doctor,,lawyer,,accountant,,music,,acting,,etc.
You can be ANYTHING that you want to be.Everyone starts at step 1.Once you decide what you want,,then you can find out how to get there.Try writing down things of interest no matter how large or small they seem.
And remember,,,
"As you dream,,so shall you become,,"
