I am currently in college and have a large problem with leaving things to the last minute and even then not always really doing them. I guess I'm looking for some techniques to help get my mind ready to work. I've tried listening to music, but I end up becoming really focused on what songs I should listen to and not my work. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

i've got so many subjects that i'm interested in, that i don't know how to pick a major. how can i decide what i should major in?

I am currently attending a community college, my IGETC will be completed in Spring 07'. But applying for UC's and Cal States is in 3 days and my GPA is currently 1.97 I will FOR SURE bring it up to at least a 3.4 by the end of this session in December 06', but my application will already be processed and they will see my 1.97 right now and deny me. What should I do? Please help; counselors here are pathetic and they screwed me up. And I have no one to help me with this! I am desperate for strangers help!
Should I just apply to UC Irvine (because that's where I wanna go) and just wait until they deny me, then write up an appeal? or should I apply for a Cal State, will Cal States even accept me?

I hear about these kids that take college courses at a super young age, what age can a child start taking college courses and get real credit so that they can get done that much sooner, especially if they are planning on something like medical or legal that take 8 or more years?
