I have to do a current issues project on a controversial subject that has something to do with Biology...example: Global Warming. I want it to be really interesting and original but I'm having trouble coming up with a topic. Please Help!

"How safe is our food" is a very current topic.With the use of pesticides, the fruits and vegetables get poisoned and it causes series problems for children below 6.in the same way cows milk also get affected (as it eats the grass) and then the whole diary products get affected too.The marine life is getting disturbed by the frequent dumping of industrial wastes, and since a high percentage of human population consume on sea food, they get serious diseases.
another topic is "Shoud developing countries focus on development or environment protection?" But its a debatable issue.
