Question about housing near NYU.?

Where could a student who wants to attend New York University live that is not $1000/month.

Get the Village Voice and check the "Roommates Wanted" section.

Honestly, it would be cheaper to get housing through NYU. Rent in NYC is extremely high, and frankly, a one-bedroom or even a studio in the East or West Village for under $1000 is just not going to happen.
