Although your pre-K students might enjoy making collages, you don't need to take any courses in them. I suspect you meant college, not collage. Most preschool programs are privately opperated, so employment requirements may be different for each instutition. However, in general you'd want to complete at least a bachelor's degree, preferably in Early Childhood Education. As far as how many credits, it's however many your school requires to grant a BA.

I think once you are grad from an university (w/ any major), you can become a pre-K teacher (or even a high school teacher).
