I think the best way to pick your major is to write down all the areas of study you wish to pursue and try to take a class in each one if possible. In most cases, the entry course (i.e. - psychology 1, sociology 100) gives you a broad look at the field. Sometimes, you have to take two classes to figure out if it's an area you wish to pursue because the first class was either too broad or there are prerequisites to the course you wish to take. I took courses at a community college to help me out. Not only was it cheaper but I was able to transfer my credits (always check - comes in handy later on). It sounds like a lot, but it helps. You can always do some research. There are tons of websites that can help you decide on a major. Doing both helped me pick a major by the end of my sophomore year. You're always able to change your major if you find you don't like what you're studying though. Hope this helps, good luck!

really dwadel. pick one if your university wants you to, but don't go so intensive if you are not sure, making sure to see as many classes as you can in other majors that intrest you so you can switch. (note this will take longer but it is the way things work if you are undecided) I sugesst visiting the Departments and getting advisement. The advisors will help you. good luck!
