Depending on what type of college you are looking to attend and what programs you want to enroll in, it might be wise to try to take the test again.

It's not good and will require remediation at most colleges, even if you can get in.
19 is usually the minimum score overall and in each section to avoid remediation.
I strongly suggest retaking the ACT. You definitely need at least a 19, and if you could get up to the low-mid 20s, you'd be in a much better position for financial aid/admission to more selective schools. Even higher...even better.
Bottom line: 18 = remediation and almost no scholarships

I believe it's about average nationally. High scores are generally in the 27-35 range.

good is a relative term...but usually i'd say no...depending on what school u r applying to it may be enough...but i'd suggest taking it again if u can...cuz with a higher score more scholarships will be available to u...
