Why is it not considered racist to deny white American's access to most scholarships? To do this is to believe that white's are not equally deserving of the right to an education.

I offer a scholarship ( http://www.daylon.com/scholarship ) and I'm willing to bet somebody would complain if I were to add being white as a requirement for being awarded.

Does anybody else have a problem with race being considered when deciding scholarship eligibility?

it's extremely expensive. It's not just a stupid program, it's an accredited Bachelor's to Master's degree program and I'm extremely interested. Only, the financial aid they offer doesn't help me out at all, and I can't get federal help because it's an online school and not part of "the list". I'd really prefer not to take out a personal loan, as I'm already in way in debt. Any alternate suggestions? Serious replies only please. Thanks!

3 years ago I was attending college part-time. I worked full time and lived alone. My stepfather discovered he had cancer. I had to quit school and move home to help my mother take care of him. When I quit, it was in the final few weeks of school and I did not owe any money back. Now that he has passed away, I am thinking about going back to school, but I am afraid that I will not be able to get the funding that I need. Can anyone tell me if I can still get a grant?

Do you know any scholarships that would pay for you to go to college? I know there is Gates Millenium Scholarship that pay for everything at the university of your choice. Any other? I should mention that I am a high school student.

My son FINALLY decided for sure to attend chiro. school this Fall. Will FAFSA want his parents' income info., or his own? If it's too late to do a FAFSA on the web, can he still manually file one?

This is the value of an appointment to a US service academy. Not only do you have no student loans when you are done, you get paid while in school, everything is provided -- room -- board -- clothes -- books -- etc., small classes, a superb education and a guaranteed job when you graduate.
