You can apply with FAFSA every year you're in college, afterall it's just an application. From the information from the FAFSA they will determine whether you are eligible for any grants grants and scholarships. If it turns out you are not eligible for any of those, you could turn to private loans. One of my personal favorites is CitiAssist found at www.citiassist.com. You need a co-signer if you are not credit worthy. Sallie Mae is also a good student loan company found at www.salliemae.com. Also, try going on www.fastweb.com to try to see if you can find any scholarships. There are plenty of options out there, you just got to know where to find them. Good luck in school!

You could look into education grants, especially if you are a minority. There's also the military. You could also start going part time and just pay as you go and work to pay for it.
