What is the difference between a community college, first 2 years in state schools, and first two years in university?

So my sister is applying to college again this year. She dropped out after getting pregnant and then gave the baby up for adoption.
Now it is 2 years later, she graduated, she has great grades and etc...
Would it be appropriate for her to write about that experience in her admissions essay? Since that is a life changing event... Do you think it is too personal? Any opinions on it would be appreciated...

What do you mean when you say ....

1. Unlike most other languages English doesn't have a set phonetic pronunciation for every word. If you have ever seen the musical "My Fair Lady" or read the Book "Pygmalion" then you could easily see this concept.

2. English was "screwed up" long before the modern generation got its grubby paws on it, and jargon and slang have been injected into it for centuries. And in truth, English (and most other languages) has never been exact enough for truly good technical use. Its conjunctions do not reflect any sort of consistent logic system, such as Boolean logic. And its nouns are fuzzy in definition at best. Often times, such as in Law, a special set of rules and definitions must be created for a language to be used in a technical manner, and this set of rules and definitions doesn't always (or even usually) completely line up with the accepted or common definition or use of the word, which creates confusion .

i'm a pretty good student and i'll be graduating soon. i'm considering not going to college yet though. i've always wanted to be a part of the Peace Corps and was thinking about doings that right after high school. i want to go to college, i want to major in theatre, but i think i might put that on hold.

good or bad idea?

i want to stay in state the 1st year or so of school, then transfer. i've thought of the following options:
1) go to college in state 1-2 years. stop for a year or two, join the PC, then go back to college
2) join right after high school, then go to college
3) go and finish college, then join

i haven't even talked to my parents about it. i just want other opinions.

I get A's and B's in school. I got a C in biology and i have a B in chemistry. Im really interested in anatomy though. Anyway im an average student and i dont take AP classes. Anyway I think I might want to become a nurse so i just want to know if an average student like me would actually be able to do so. Including being able to make it through nurse school.
Answers from doctors and nurses would be great! Thank you!!

What are the requirements for getting into law school?

My GPA is a 2.9 and I go to Florida State. I haven't taken the LSAT yet.

We have a good law school at the university, would it be easier to get into that school considering I will receive my undergrad from the same university that I am applying for?

Also - what GPA is median, and what is a good LSAT score?

Thanks in advance!

i am currently living here in America and i am almost about to graduate high school. my father thinks that it is a wise decision to send me to the Philippines for college. i am 95% unsure that i dont want to go there only because i already planned to attend college here. but the only thing is what is bothering me is that he will not support me in anyway, which means i have to support myself to pursue my education here in America. I have no clue which is the best decision for me. Help! please and thank you.

I'll have to start my premed prerequisites right now along with my undergraduate degree. If I do that, I won't be able to enter medical school until I am 25 years old. I would like to know if it is worth all the hard work right now and during medical school to be a doctor. Is the cost of time worth it? Being 29 and just out of medical school...is that worth it? I want to work in the medical field and feel that the best way that I can benefit society is by being a doctor. I want people to trust me with their lives and to know that I will give them all that I can offer to help.
