I was wondering because on a website for nyumc said children under 10 can live with you if you have window guards,but I was wondering if it was the same for just nyu.

Some larger schools have family housing, which is mostly for graduate students, but will also accommodate undergraduate parents. They are basically individual apartments, and you pay for the apartment, rather than for a normal dorm room. Certainly you can't just bring the kids with you to a normal dorm room! They are the size of a matchbook and your roommate won't be real pleased to find out they are sharing it with one other student and her six kids!
