"You will never miss the water till the well goes dry" means that you can be so accustomed to something that you never appreciate it until it is gone.
People often take their parents or good health etc.so much for granted that they only value it after it has disappeared.

I think the expression is "you won't miss your water till the well runs dry." That means if you take something for granted, you won't miss it until it is no longer available. Then, you will miss it.

how long does it takes a well to be toally dry in a normal temperature? Very long!! This person will miss you for a very long time or till u return to his arms.
