I just got my Student Aid Financial report back from FAFSA and it says that my Expected Family Constribution (EFC) is 0. What does that mean?

This is the last sentence in my conclusion paragraph for a paper on the american dream and the great gatsby. All i need to know is if it sounds good/bad/horrible. Basically i just need to know if it makes sense. If not please leave suggestions. Here it is.

I got a Pell grant for community college. I got a letter stating that I got "this much for fall" and "this much for spring". What about winter? Am I not allowed to take classes after the Christmas break?!! Help! I have no idea what is going on!

Someone is sending me a magazine that they own, and I told them that I'd pay for the shipping.

They sent me an email back saying "Don't worry about paying anything, consider it a RAK!"

Now what does RAK mean??? We both like to knit, could this be a knitting abbreviation???

I've been trying to think of a science project to do for the ninth grade science fair for a while. My friend said that putting teeth in soda and watching them dissolve after a while is a good experiment. I've done some research and it doesn't seem quite as easy as that. Anybody know how to conduct a good experiment? Specifics about what I could do? And is it true that I could get teeth from the dentist? Any help is...well...helpful. :D Thank you!

I'm not referring at all to people who must work full time and go to night school or part time college.

I'm referring to those who spend more than eight semesters for only one major and degree and who do not need to work full time because they milked all the financial aid they could.

Personally, it took me eight semesters to finish, however, I didn't do it in a four year time span (since high school graduation) and I regret that. I had no excuse. Even though I finished a semester after most of my class, I was already behind a year or two in the job market. On my resume, I still like to put class of 2001, even though it was really December 2001. However, I had to march with 2002, since there was only one commencement each academic year, and people kept associating me with 2002.

Please treat this as a delicate situation. Serious ones need only apply. Since I am pretty much resigned to the fact that I am highly stubborn ,somewhat arrogant, I need any one out there to educate me to what exactly I can get out there if decided to drop my drawers and just do it with anyone, and I mean ANYONE. I have tried staying on a regular regime of being on a mood stabilizer, to being put on SSRI's to re-directing my way of thinking by means of reading books of all kinds to watching T.V. to going for rides on buses to walking the animals to trying to sleeping thru it. Nothing seems to work. I went to go and see my OB/ GYN. I see a mental Dr. and Dr. who prescribes Mood Stabilizers. My mother thinks its stress, I have lost my car and subsequently have had to move due to transportation problems. I have been thinking of getting a BOB (Battery Operated Boyfriend). I am at the end of my rope. What exactly is out there and what would you advise me to do? Educate me.
