he seems to have PDD (not diagnosed yet officially ). He is a very smart boy but seems to be too stressed out by not KNOWING 'what comes next'. He can do everything independently as long as either I do it with him or better yet he has a picture symbol schedule. And any sites I could use? Thanks so much. I could send him to public school but this catholic school offered to take him and it is small and will remain small classes - under 10 till 8th grade - something I think he also needs.

what ways can we use them so when he is out in public he can inconspicuously follow his schedule of picture symbols. Can I use a key ring of sorts or is there technology for this? He is mainstreamed at catholic school and asked me if he could start using this at school too. I want him to shine like I know he can and this will help. Any ideas of different ways to use a picture schedule for a normal functioning child who needs help .

Both my freshman and sophomore years i've had a 4.0 GPA. Now in my third (and final) year my grades are dropping. Its only 1st quarter (mid semester) and I have A's in my honors courses, but B's in all of my AP courses. I know that I'll still have a 4.0 weighted GPA, but my inweighted GPA will drop. I know that colleges like to see an increase, not a decrease in grades. Even though my GPA will staty the same, will the B's be frowned upon when my transcript is being looked over by admissions officers?

i'm really interested in doing a postgraduate in medicine in the US after i finish my dgree here in Scotland but i was wanting to know:

Is it easier to get into American Universities for medicine than British ones?

Would my degree still count the same as a British one to employers?

Would it be very expensive? :s i'm not sure where i would get funding as it would be my second degree.

Any help with any of my questions would be really appreciated! Thank you!

I use to think this when I first was going to college, but I don't fall for that line anymore. So many colleges try to entice students to sign up with the slogan "you learn more you earn more" which really isn't true in the real world. I know many people with masters degrees who are unemployable or working for a boss who just has a high school education. My cousin almost has his law degree from a well respected school and can not find a job anywhere when he graduates. So basically he will have a law degree and be unemployable.

It seems how well you perform in the work place means a lot more then how many diplomas and certifications you can hang on your wall.

This is going to sound strange, but my college tutor caught me using cocaine in college today. She was angry at me and told me to meet her at her office at 8 in the morning to speak with her and other staff. I'm not a trouble maker at all, I've only been using it because I've been struggling to handle long hours at my job which left me exausted at college, so it was affecting my results in class. I was told it would be a good 'pick me up'. Can I get thrown out for this? I'm very worried.
