I think she means that you have to write it in columns? There is a way to do that in your word processing program. In Microsoft Word I think you have to go to the "print layout" option. Ask your question again in Computers and Internet if you don't get the full answer here. Someone there should be able to help you. Best of luck with it.

IDK any web sites, but Microsoft Word can do newspaper columns. You just need to bump up the font size on the headline and type in a byline like "San Francisco, CA" and I'd say it would look like a newspaper article. Maybe a picture, if this is front-page stuff. The picture should have a caption if you go that way with it.
Smart E might be right about the assignment. Better check that out before you waste your time.

Michelle, I believe your teacher wants the essay to read like a newspaper article, not look like a newspaper. Read a few articles and see how they are written. Every fact is attributed to a statement, quote or eyewitness account. Answer the "W" questions. Who What When Where Why.
Hope I helped.
Good Luck!!

If you have Microsoft Publisher, you can go to a preset template and create your essay as a newspaper. You don't need a whole lot of experience with the program to work through it. It's pretty simple.

Everything you need is probably in your word processor.
You want the title to be a catchy headline in larger print, and set it up to type in multiple columns like a newspaper.
First, look in "help" on your wordprocessor, and search for "create newsletter".
If it's word, you would View: Print Layout, then select the text, then punch the toolbar button for columns.
Alternatively, you could create "Text boxes" and copy the text into those.

You can do it with Word, just make it be in 2 skinny columns Highlight the text. Then, go to View, Toolbars, Standard and it's on the standard toolbar. It looks like columns of type, and you put your mouse over it to choose 1, 2, or more columns.

You can do that in microsoft word. Split it up into 3 columns or rows. Insert pictures (clipart) into the different articles where necesary. You can use Wordart to make the headlines. Definately word would be the simplest way to go!

That's very unclear. "Smart E" is probably on the right track. Can you get your parents to call the teacher and double-check the assignment?
