My son is four and has autism. He has been getting occupational therapy since about 18 months old. Over the summer, we moved to a new school district. They are not going to provide any OT for him, since they can't figure out any "goals" that would require it. However, his last school's occupational therapist did a "Floortime" model of OT with him and helped him with sensory issues, which helped him to learn more about social skills and learn better the rest of the day. What can I do? Is there anywhere that lists the benefits of OT for autism?

I need some serious advice before I start give myself an even bigger headache. I'm a middle class student, with an average GPA (3.6). I want to be a Dentist, so I decide, knowing the insanes amount of money it takes to go to college for atleast 8 years would make me debt for the rest of my life. SO I decide to attend community college for my first two years! Now, I'm trying to decide what college to go to, and the amount of money is rediculous. My parents can't help me with this amount of money! I don't qualify for financial aid! What about the middle people! Scholarships don't really help becuase you have to show that you're poor, the poor people are already getting money from the government, what about the MIDDLE people? How am I supposed to pay for undergaradute schools and dental school? Theres supposedly so much help out there, but not for people like me!

I'm doing a report for school on the United Nations, and it's difficult to find information that is easily understood. The UN website is of no help to me, and is too complicated. My teacher doesn't really like us using Wikipedia, and Google searches aren't yeilding much yet. Links to useful sites with good, simple and to the point information would be appreciated.
