How do I get into A University with a GED. I don't want to go through a community college.

I'm a senior majoring in Political Science and Economics, and I am really interested in pursuing a career as a real estate appraiser. Although I know that a career diploma from PCDI would not take the place of getting a license, I would think that it can only help me. I am willing to set aside some of my money and complete the career diploma. Do you think this is a wise choice? I don't know of any other appraisal program in my home state.

I am pretty much shut out of college application wise, if I engaged in a enlightning and compelling conversation/ debate with a professor at a cetain school and personally demonstarted my intelligence to them, is there a possibility that the professor may "sway" the decision of my admissions?

I hate red necks and want to get the hell out of this damn state and back up north where I belong (Damn my parents for moving here)

But finding a university is hard, All of the ones I could afford are to southern based, I HATE southern people.

I was Looking at NC State, or UNCG. But Ive read that those aren't respected.

I graduated high school in 2005. At first i was sole bent on going into the military, but because of the current situation that the United States is in with Iraq, i have decided not to go. I have been working during the past two years living away from my hometown of Atlanta.

I have decided that now is a good time for me to apply for college. I am only 20 years old, so i don't want to wait too too long. Would you consider this a good option for me? I don't want to wait too long!

im stilll really young, and schools going bad, so no one say just stay in school i already have my mind set. I just want to know from someone who maybe in the same situation, what the best place would be to work, or where i ccould find work that pays enough. Im planning in the future if i do this i can have time to skateboard, and im close to gettin sponsored by loc skateshop so i get money for that all the time ..
I wasnt planning on dropping out, but i actually think this is what i want, i dont care so much about moneyy, just as long as when i turn 18 i can have a fair paying job to pay off rent, and live in a small place, all i do anyways is skate so i dont think college is right for me. And i would prefer living in a small place, just as long as i can skate, eat, and have a roof over my head.

Read the story. A principal at a middle school in Chicago has BANNED hugs because it "clogs the hallways and makes kids late to class"

OMG!!! What a horrible thing *GASP*. So i ask you, When is a Hug not a hug? Middle schoolers. Can't teach police it the simple way. If they think its too much, stop it or, Maybe just maybe, have an assembly or a notice or something???

this is retarded and this principal is about 6 bricks shy of a full load IF the story that is told is true.

Why do Americans say words with a 'T' sound, like it has a 'D' in it?
Example..'Scotty'..they say 'Scoddy'
WHY ???????????????????????????????
and words begining with 'Tu', like 'Tuesday'...they say 'Toosday', not the more normal English version of it, pronounced as 'Choosday'.
Anyone who can explain this to me, please do !!!

I don't get it. I teach second grade. My students could care less about the objectives. They don't even pay attention to the board.
