I'm a senior majoring in Political Science and Economics, and I am really interested in pursuing a career as a real estate appraiser. Although I know that a career diploma from PCDI would not take the place of getting a license, I would think that it can only help me. I am willing to set aside some of my money and complete the career diploma. Do you think this is a wise choice? I don't know of any other appraisal program in my home state.

Real Estate Appraisers are licensed in every state. The education and experience requirement varies from state-to-state. You will need to contact the Appraiser Licensing Board in your state to find out the specific requirements there.

I've taken PCDI courses and enjoyed them but I'm not sure this program will help you achieve licensure. You need to make certain before you invest the time and money.
