We dont actually get taught anything, we research all our assignments then write up essays, he marks, we reseach, write up report, he marks, etc etc

But he himself hasn't taught anything, he just tells us assignment we go off and do it (we're doing Btec National Diploma Business (3 A levels)

Can any one tell me how it really is/ I have a 14 year old in year 10 who hates school he does have MLD but will fail GCSE,s this is my one worry are GCSE,s important? if i home school could he still go to college?
I also have a 9 year old girl with Downs syndrome she doesnt really learn a thing at school and would benifit more from life skills BUT i find the break from her nice

Then i have a child due to start secondty education next year he is very bright but refuses to take the 11+ there is only one local school i would allow him to go to
If he fails to get in was thinking of home educating him just worried i may take away any future chance of uni though

Please give me honest advice how you find it how you cope what activities you do how to encourage learning etc I can also be contacted by email
this is a huge step and i want to make sure 100% what i am doing is right for my kids

3) Ali, Ben & Chen had 98 pencils altogether. After Ali gave away 5 pencils, Ben doubled his pencils and Chen received 3 more pencils, the ratio of the pencils of Ali to Ben to Chen became 1:4:5 respectively. How many pencils did each of them have at first?

I know that I am suppose to find it on my own. My maths isn't that great so I would be glad if you would help and try to teach me your method. Thanks!

There's one open, on a 7:30, to New York, on a 12th.

This is a sentence I found a bit strange. It's about booking a flight New York. The native speaker said so but I'm not sure about articles.

1. Shouldn't 'a' before 12th be 'the'?
2. How about 'a' before '7:30'? Does it sound okay?

Please answer me with the correct sentence. I'll desperately wait for your replies!

The above is the one, but I can not really say if it is a good one in literature. Can you help me with it?

"Less us" can never be found in my writing. I would use " few people ", or " we seldom, rarely ...". How about you?

Why did the author use " borrow "? I can not really understand it. I would say " take good use of fibres of wood before it was burned " . yes, take good use, make good use,

After highschool last year I went straight into a california state university--Big mistake. After a year at this state university I have learned I just don't like it there, in fact I hate it. From the low expectations of the professors , to the lazy student body, this college just doesn't feel like college. SO, I have decided I want to go to community college, (something I should have done in the first place ) and transfer to a UC or a private school or at least a better state college.

Despite hating the environtment at the CSU I was going to, I did good got A's and B's on all my classes except three that I failed. So heres my question: If I decide to leave this CSU and enroll at a community college, (I will transfer the courses from the state uni to the cc, entirely A's and B's except for three F's), and finishing my second year at this cc in hopes of transferring to a UC or a private school, will those three bad grades affect me?
