Thankfully neither I nor my family has been a victim of crime,

The effect on me therefore has been secondary. payment for the installation and monthly monitoring fee for an alarm, putting better locks on my door, higher taxes, using a shredder, monitoring my credit, and not going into certain neighborhoods in th dark.

Well the effects of crime on me and the society is big. Firstly it makes me feel insecure, knowing that such distateful and inhumane things cud occur to us.Secondly it obviously make me fell outraged-knowing that everyone is educated on not commiting crimes but still they do! It also develops a sense of bad impression on the society or environment that I'm living in thus making me move to other area causing less population in the previous area. There's many more effects on me and others which is dfficult to comprehend to.
