Each school seems to have a different definition of a mature student, but it generally refers to students above the usual age range of students. We consider students over the age of 30 to be mature students.

i do no longer think of it has something to do with instructor-pupil. i think of it has to do with age. Like, a 14-3 hundred and sixty 5 days-old pupil and a 32-3 hundred and sixty 5 days-old instructor possibly does no longer be caught lifeless in a relationship, yet a 22-3 hundred and sixty 5 days-old pupil and a 32-3 hundred and sixty 5 days-old instructor could desire to be in a relationship. as quickly as the pupil turns 18, they are able thus far, marry, and have young ones with whoever they choose for, legally. yet while they weren't 18 on the time, no longer basically might the instructor be breaking the regulation, yet so might the toddler... and that they had the two finally end up in prison, or a minimum of a Juvenile prison, or appearing some community provider or some thing minor like that.

Well there are lots of answers to this question. A mature student could be someone who's 60 years old in college. Or someone who is about to graduate college. It could be someone who is about to graduate from high school.
Because the word "mature" is so vague and ambiguous, the question you are asking could mean different things to different people.

a mature person knows what to do,to make a life worth living. it's still up to you if you would stay with your parents or separate. sometimes people think if your living with parents, there is absence of independence, but they're wrong. being with family or not doesn't matter, just do what you can do.sometimes it's better to have someone tapping our shoulder if we're exhausted or sleepy to offer a cup of coffee.

Maturity is dependent on the individual. Just to ask this kind of question shows maturity.
Does this make sense? If so, you're there....

A mature student usually knows if they are mature.
they dont need to be watched and talked to about things all the time.
they know that their studies are more important than play time.
they have it together mentally and most of the time physically too!

Maturity is not a certain age. It is when you are responsible.
