Checkout Encarta's dictionary:

http://encarta.msn.com/encnet/features/dictionary/dictionaryhome.aspx

It has audio pronouncements of most words and it's free. Good luck!

Just take your time when you're reading. Sound the new word(s) out for yourself. Say it over a few times while you look at it. And don't get upset if you don't get it the first time. The important thing is to keep trying. Ask if there is a reading tutor in your school.

try wiktionary [http://www.wiktionary.org/]. you should be able to download the pronunciations of all the english (and other languages) words there. plus, because it's a dictionary, you're sure to get the right spelling of words.

hope that helps!
