Well it really depends on where the classes are being offered. Will you be taking then CNA program at a JC or through the facility???? I know in California Jr. Colleges the CNA programs are 6 units and between $18 and $22 a unit, if you are taking the program at a JC apply for the BOGG it is a fee waiver for units so all you would have to pay for you be books, uniforms, background check/ finger prints, malpractice insurance, and your immunizations if they aren't current. I know that that can still add up to a pretty penny but there are other assistance programs out there, such as unemployment..... your local unemployment office should have somebody in the office and helps students with cost of certain programs. Good luck

The answer to 'is it worth it' has to be answered by you. Remember, the true cost of anything is everything else you have to give up to have it. Not just the money, but the time, and everything else that you could have used the money and time for.
