Hi everyone,

I'm trying to make a decision between preschool and montessori for my child. He's only 1 but would like to enroll him in a half day program when he is 2. I hear good things about montessori schools but am wondering if it really is better than preschool or are they different but equal. Really what is the difference between the 2? Any advise and suggestion would be good.

Does anyone know for sure if Harvard and Princeton looks at your weighted GPA meaning if someone takes AP classes, their GPA will explode, or do they look at every class regardless of difficulty or level as a 4 point class?

do you guys think that i will get into UC Davis or UC Irvine with a 1670 SAT score (i know that this is a horrible score) but with a 4.0+ gpa and good extracurriculars?

p.s. i am planning to do the ACT as well; i think that will be easier than SAT for me

Im in the 10th grade. last year i took algebra 2, jrotc 1, English 2, French1, physical science, world geo/ world history. oh and i want to take jrotc all four years. also i would like to know do i have to take french in college because i dont really like it or learn anything in that class. and I passed all my classes with an a except french with a b. my GPA is 4.69.

Have you ever checked out a Professor, acknowledged that they received bad marks from students, but took their class anyhow? If so, was this experience a bad one or a good one?

I have just graduated from a ,well, not so prestigious University with a Bachelors Degree in business management. Can I still get my MBA(Masters degree) from a prestigious University such as the University of Toronto or even Harvard with a bachelors degree from a “crappy” university? I got a 32 on the ACT, and my gpa is about 4.2 out of 4. the schools i am thinking of applying to include georgetown u, washington u in st. louis, brown, and possibly yale and harvard, along with some safety schools because i dont know if i can get into the schools listed. do you think i can get into those schools with the info here, and should i take the test again?? i am also very involved at school and i do a lot of service.
