" "Bloody hell." the female voice muttered. An irritated sigh escaped the lips of a girl seated cross-legged on a chair, scowling fiercely at her computer screen. The dim glow illuminated the small, darkened room, throwing the burgundy coloured walls into splashes of wine-stained shadows. "

I only found this out by accident, and it stuck in my mind since it happens to be what I drive. According to something I read, it's been the number-one seller for more than 20 consecutive years.

Do you know what it is? Be the first to give me the make and model, and you will be the one to garner 10 points.

Good luck!

Not everyone can spell, be gramatically correct all of the time or even speak good English so why do all of the smarty pants on this site keep pulling people up about their grammar?
I can't spell, my grammar isn't good and i am a Geordie (say no more) I am also dyslexic, so I don't have anything going my way do I?
Could these extremly intelligent people please realise that not everyone can afford a private education, show a little compassion for the not-so-well-educated please?
(i do not apologise for my English)

The inside and the outside of the store were painted in purple, which I think was pretty nice. I felt very welcome when I entered the store. The employees were courteous and helpful. There were two sections of the store, the first section which is the front of the store that isn’t private and is for anyone. The back side of the store carried all of the adult videos and toys.

I pictured a sex shop as being somewhat seedy. What we walked into was a clean, well lit shopping mart with well stocked shelves and every sex toy imaginable. When we went into the store, I was surprised by who was there. Everyone was older than Damian and I, but they were just normal people just there looking to see things that they want to buy. The front area of the store contains different variety of condoms with many colors and offers different kinds of brand name such as lifestyles and Trojan. There were costumes, lube, condoms, lingerie, and novelty items like sex board games. There shirts that said difference kinds of sexual things such as “take it off” or “do me.” Underwear and bras are sell at a fair price.

The web site for the scare AIDS movie claims: -

Half of all new HIV infections occur in people under age 25 — one fourth in people under age 21. — U.S. Office of National AIDS

WELL THEN EXPLAIN THIS

THE TRUTH (if you believe in 'AIDS') FROM CDC SITE

People under 25 diagonised in 2005

Just 2604 cases

Total of all ages 45,669

THAT IS JUST 17.549% of cases not HALF

http://www.cdc.gov/hiv/topics/surveillance/resources/reports/2005report/table3.htm.

Table 3. Estimated numbers of AIDS cases, by year of diagnosis and selected characteristics, 2001–2005 and cumulative—United States and dependent areas

and teen cases (14 - 19) were just 476 in all of America.

Profound mental retardation describes an IQ below 20. People at this level require total supervision and nursing care all their lives. They can learn little except to walk, say a few phrases, feed themselves and use the toilet. Many have severe physical deformities as well as neurological damage. There is a very high mortality rate during childhood in this group.

I don't understand the part when it says "they can learn little except to walk, say a few phrases, feed themselves and use the toilet". Does it mean that they cannot walk, say a few phrases, feed themselves and use the toilet?

I think it's a reference to Neverland, but:
What does the second star symbolize?
What does it lead to or refer to?
What significance would it have to a person other than Peter Pan (as in a real person)?
If anyone knows the full quote, or at least a longer version, please post it.

I would like to know what others think about credit worthy employment discrimination.

Is it fair to not hire a college student because of a low credit score that is due to student loans reflecting on his credit report?

Here’s my friend dilemma:

He graduated from a private University in 2004 with a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice. He spent a year looking for jobs in his profession and was not successful at obtaining employment because of lack of experience in the field, language barrier (he resides in Miami, FL) etc.
The school did a very poor in finding a job placement, instead the counselor looked at him and said, and “You lack experience, and don’t expect to make more than $25,000 a year”. He was furious, upset because in his current position his making $30,000 a year while working two jobs. Since 2004 until current he sent out close to 250 employment applications, and only went to 25 interviews in his profession.
He’s now stuck with a $55,000 student loan with no job! His forced to take jobs like Administrative Assistant, Receptionist, Data Entry etc.

I would like to get others opinion on this situation:

What should he do?

Should I advice to change profession, and go back to school for something else?

Is school for everyone?

Is the educational system selling false dreams?

Would you recommend he moved to another state? (Since Spanish is a requirement for those that live in Miami, FL)

Were you happy, immature, wild, heartbroken, hungry like the wolf, insane, following the wrong path, eating overcooked cheeseburgers and drinking cheap beer, chasing money, sleeping in church, burning down the house, singing backup in a dance band, giving away your life savings to the homeless, reckless, superficial, in prison with paris hilton, constipated, wandring in the desert for 40 years, staring out the window, eating ice cream in your leather disco jumpsuit, panhandling, hitchhiking across canada, sleey, floaing through college, scraping up used gum for your science project, or cutting class with dan akroyd.
