So much time with nothing to do, ah? Or were you absent for far too long to have missed the entire two weeks lecture on how to write your lesson plan?.

Depending on what subject you want to plan. The basic format is the same for all subjects except the methodology would be different. Go check out your college pedagogy textbooks. You might want to ask if your lecturers kept copies of previously submitted lesson plans.

But if everything seems so difficult here's some tips on how about to do it.

1. subject and topic of the lesson
2. time: date and duration of the lesson
3.behavioural or explicit objectives for the lesson
4. steps or stages starting with your set induction before proceeding to your introduction, practice and evaluation stage.
5. you might want to consider some consolidation work or enrichment activities for your closure.
6. last but not least, dont forget your own reflection column where you are supposed to share with your supervisor how you fared in that lesson.
