I don't really understand what their mascot is. It's a cardinal i think like the color cardinal, but then why's there a tree? also what's wrong with their band? i heard that they got suspended too...?

Is it true that people with learning disabilities have
trouble holding down jobs at first? I was fired from
several restaurants when I was younger for being
too slow,it was not that I was not trying to do my best.Do you think my learning disability had something to do with it.The other kids did not have any trouble at the job.

I havent been too dilligent in my studies thus far. I take the barbri course everyday but after class I just don't feel focused. I have some "better" days but for the most part I just can't seem to sit down and get thru all this material. The exam is at the end of July. Am I doomed? Is there still time to learn all these subjects! Help!

Im currently living in Arizona and didnt excell to the best of my abilities in high school, which has lead me community college. My plan is to go to community college for one year, then transfer to an out of state school. I was looking at Loyola Marymount, but i was just curious if going to a private college will effect my chances of getting in to a top 5 law school? I've heard that people that attend public universities in their home state have a better chance of getting into a top 5 law school.Help me lol!

i am an underwritter for insurance and was hired with only a 440 lic which is the only lic he state requires. My employer now wants us all to have our 220 lic but wants us to get it on our own time. Is the job required to pay us for training if it's not a state requirement but the employers.

At the end of the 3rd Quarter my daughter got a C+ in English. As a father, I wasn't too happy about this. But I was understanding, as it was still her first year of High School, and she went to a academically tough Catholic School. We talked about it (and I remember she wanted a Nintendo Wii). So I made a deal with her, get an A- or higher for English for the 4th quarter, and I'd buy her a Wii. So for the last quarter, she studied so hard. She re-read stories and books. She would even stay in her school uniform because she didn't want to waste "studying time." I'd even see her in her school uniform on Friday Nights reading a book for an upcoming test. She would even put time for studying on Saturdays and Sundays. After all this, she only got a B+. She was so sad, but her teacher told us she put the most effort out of anyone. And when I look at it a B+ at a Catholic School (91.7%) is an A- at a public school. So what should I do? Do you think I should get it for her? I think she deserves it, but would breaking the deal make me a bad father?
