I havent been too dilligent in my studies thus far. I take the barbri course everyday but after class I just don't feel focused. I have some "better" days but for the most part I just can't seem to sit down and get thru all this material. The exam is at the end of July. Am I doomed? Is there still time to learn all these subjects! Help!

I didn't take NY, but I did take the California bar, which has a reputation for being the toughest in the country, and I had a similar experience - part of it was that while I had planned to take time off my job and do nothing but study, but things came up at work which led to my working most of the summer. I passed on the first try, and I honestly think that the fact that I was able to put things in perspective and think, rather than obsessing on the exam, helped. I can't guarantee that you will have the same experience, and you certainly do have to know the material well enough to be able to draw on it where needed, but there is still hope for you!
