Is it true that people with learning disabilities have
trouble holding down jobs at first? I was fired from
several restaurants when I was younger for being
too slow,it was not that I was not trying to do my best.Do you think my learning disability had something to do with it.The other kids did not have any trouble at the job.

Maybe some of the employers you have had were the kind of people that required you to do unreasonable expectations. Some employers are the kind of people that work with numbers and have no Idea of what is really involved. Don't forget you are human; then if you have had bad experiences working at restaurants I would try different things. Make assessments on:

1. What is your ideal working conditions?
2> What are your interests?
3. What are your personality characteristics?
4. What can you improve yourself on?

Okay I think sometimes learning disabilities have A lot to do with jobs.

I think you just need to find a job that is a good match for your skills/abilities. Your first job probably just wasn't a good match for you. If if was a learning disability that got in the way then you just need to find a job that uses a different set of skills. Good luck!
