If a college student were to fail a class and retake it and get a better grade, do employers look at that as academic failure because of the F? I am currently majoring in computer technology. The class I'm not doing well in, is actually an elective and does not pertain to my major. I am currently in a junior college and later I'm planning to transfer to a four year school. If I don't make it through the class and have to take it over, would that mess up my college career? I could really use some good advice.

One of my instructors did say that "employers actually prefer to hire people with a C average because the student worked harder for the grade, therefore employers look at A students as not hard workers." Is this true?

Im engaged and going to be 23, I have a 3 month old baby. Ive been a stay at home mother so far but I need an education to get beyond anything I can do right now. My fiance travels for work often and last minute usually. Childcare is so expensive here that any job based on my current education would only allow me to pay for childcare so I could work. How can I manage going to school and working and paying for childcare/babysitters for both?

I believe my parents technically still have to submit their incomes for me to get financial aid still at my age? Maybe not?
What kind of financial aid situation would I be looking at? Any mothers out there who were in the same situation? Any advice you can offer?

Hi. I have to do a presentation for Media Studies on Wednesday, and I'm pretty nervous. I'm not sure what to say and I have to do it in front of my whole class. The presentation must be on Advertising in Sport and I have decided to focus on Football (Soccer). I know that there are loads of advertisments in the football stadiums, on the shirts and even in the names of some stadiums (e.g. Emirates Stadium). I have also had a look at the various endorsments that products and companies have from football players (e.g. Adidas and Beckham). The trouble is putting all of this into words and explaining it properly. I must explain why it is used, how it is successful, how it is unsuccessful and whether of not it has an effect on the audience/consumers. I am also going to show a video clip from a football match before I start my presentation and before the class know what my presentation is about so that I can see if they take the ads in. What should I acctually say in my presentation?

What do you do when your english teacher asks you to write a composition? Ask help on Yahoo!Answers of course!! Okay so here's my story: In one hour I need to leave for the biggest show I'll ever go to but I need to hand in my homework by tomorrow and when I come back It'll be too late to write anything as I need to wake up at 5 30 tomorrow. I didn't have time to do it earlier beacuse I had to stay back in school as my maths teacher wants me to study for a national maths competition which is very important. Here's the story: A young man on the beach comes upon a bottle. There is a message inside. The young man picks up the bottle, reads the message - and does something that changes his whole life! My son is turning 4 in Aug. He thinks like an older child. Where can I get a free IQ test on line? He knows how to write his alphabets, numbers, and can draw very well. He speaks and understands what us "adults" are saying. He and I can have a conversation about stuff, and I forget he's only 3. Am I just being a proud parent? Or is he gifted?

He has a memory like no other, remembers everything he hears and watches. He can recall anything that he has heard or seen even from months even years back. Surprises the heck out of me when he recalls things from a year or two ago. If he has gone with us some where via car, and then travel there months later, he can tell us where we are going only a quarter of the way there, sometimes sooner depending on our route. Often we take the same route to get to different places for a quarter of the way.

Anyone has simular experiences with their 3/4 year old child? I would love to hear from you. Exchange notes if you will.
