3x + 5y = 15
isolate the y by subtracting 3x from both sides
5y=-3x+15
divide everything by 5
y=-3/5x+3

5Y = 15-3x divide both side by 5

y = 3-3/5 x ...this is the answer

5y=15-3x

or

y= (15-3x)/5

3x+5y=15
-3x -3x
5y=-3x+15
divided by 5
y=-5/3x+3

i think i may have done that wrong so if its different from everybody's dont take that answer
