I'm looking for a preschool to bring my daughter (3 y/o) to. Ideal location would be Culver City, South Bay, West LA area. I'd appreciate any kind of suggestion, whether it be private or public, and tuition rates are not an issue either. Thanks!

First and foremost, I do not home school. I am just interested in educational trends.

1) How long do you homeschool (through highschool?)

2) Does a parent that home schools need to have any educational requirements? (i.e. must have masters degree)

3) I am a fairly intelligent person, but have been stumped by my daughters 8th grade math questions. How do you teach something advanced unless you already know the work yourself?

4) How many hours per day of instruction (not counting "homework" do you give? How many hours of homework? Use the 7th grade as an example

5) If you have more than 1 kid, how do you divide your time?

6) If you have kids in the 6th 7th and 8th grade, are you in teaching mode 18 hours a day?

A lot of questions. Please answer whatever you have time or feel comfortable answering.

I didn't see you the rest of that summer. Despite your teasing signature, "Stephen Hetrese - Stuck with you all summer !", here we seperately lay, our relationship neglected. I had my music and dreams to get lost in, and you never retrieved me. You had your stubbornness and friends to get distracted by, and I never won back your attention.
As easy as fault is to distribute, we both felt most at east pretending as if everything were conviently the same. Of course, the truth was apparent and hard to ignor--and although we didn't techinally avoid each other, we surely did not greet each other with the past eagerness as we had possessed always before.
That is why, for the first time since I have ever known you, am dreading September 1st.

I hate that!!! Sometimes when you backspace, say, to correct a misspelled word, you're fine, and other times, it erases a letter at a time and you have to retype the whole darn thing! How to I correct this? I hope I worded that right so you know what I mean. Grrrrrrrrrr!

I, admittedly stupidly, got my husband's initials tattooed on my lower back. We split quite a while ago and in order to correct this mistake I will be adding a couple of letters so I'll have 'mama'...which I am...in more than one sense of the word. Those pesky dots mean I would like to think of something interesting those letters could stand for. I have a couple of ideas but I'd like to see what y'all come up with.
