I hate that!!! Sometimes when you backspace, say, to correct a misspelled word, you're fine, and other times, it erases a letter at a time and you have to retype the whole darn thing! How to I correct this? I hope I worded that right so you know what I mean. Grrrrrrrrrr!

No, it isn't highlighted and deleting the whole word, it's deleting one letter at a time, and you have to retype to catch up.

Instead of using the backspace button, use the left directional arrow. This will not erase the letters you do not want erased. When you get to the letter(s) you want to change, then use the backspace button.

sometimes if you hold down the erase button too long, it will erase the whole word. If you just want to erase letters, hit the key one time for each letter. This should work.
