Education & Reference - 3 January 2007

I'm a junior in high school, and I am looking into where I am going in terms of colleges and universities, specifically majoring in civil engineering. I have a 3.35 GPA, and I have yet to take the SAT Reasoning Test in May 2007. So, using my current GPA as a guide, can anyone find a college or university that can I work with? I would like a list of between 20 to 30 colleges, and if anyone mentioned at least one, it would be great! Thanks!!!

I am considering law school, but have recently heard that most grads end up doing horrible temp work in poor conditions??

I am an employee at Vons In Chatsworth, CA, i'm concerned because, one of the employees had offered to give me a discount for a pack of gum, she kinda hinted to me all she had to do was have me get the gum, and then she would put it so the front of the gum would run past the scanner (so it would look like it had been scanned) and then she would put it so it would ring up as 50 cents. which would then give me a discount , i did not take it because I love my job too much to lose it, but i am concerned for her, for her wanting to do that (maybe to try to get me fired? so she could report it??), but she is the one who offered it is there anyway to e-mail my local Human Resources???? or someone Anonyomously?

I'm feeling really depressed lately. I'm an artsy person so I took a creative program in a college (Canada) for 3 years. Now I'm in my second semester of University majoring in something else and I'm really depressed. All my friends will be done after this semester and I still have 2 more years. I just feel so behind now.... I know most are going to College after University anyway, but I just feel like maybe I should'nt have done things backward. I also did extremely poorly first semester (weird transition from College to University) and am finding it hard to think I can recover from my first semester. I did very well in College and got many transfer credits. Is it normal to feel this way? I'm really depressed and don't know if I should talk to someone at school or not? Can anyone relate? Is it possible to recover from a bad semester (first one) in University?

I am taking my kids to Disney World and I will have to pull my 5 year old out of school.

My parents and my Mother in Law are not very happy about this, but it is the only way I can afford to do everything that we want to do.

Should I get his homework and ask his teacher to make up a schedule so he can keep up or just forget about it and let him deal with it when we get back?

He went to a very good pre-school, and is way ahead of the other kids in his class, so I am not really worried about him missing out on anything critical.
