I used to finish my other homework during downtime in other classes - just make sure you don't miss anything important. If you're not getting straight A's, then you'd better listen.
If you don't have homework and have access to the Internet, search a subject that you have interest in learning more about. If you're older, search possible career ideas in those fields. Learn as much as you can while you have the chance. Once you get out in the real world, you won't be bored but it won't be fun if you didn't do well or learn what you could have! :)

PS> "whutt" is not a word. Try "what" (I hope it's not your English teacher you're supposed to be listening to right now)

School is a place to learn and prepare you for life. Focus on what the teacher has to teach you. Use study hall time for reading, homework and excelling at learning. You need to get a focus so you do not wander aimlessly through life. If you are getting straight A's and are bored ask the teachers to get you in an accelerated program. Consider taking some college courses, while you are in highschool.

If your bored like your not learning anything then ask your teachers for extra-cred opportunities to boost your grade. But if you mean bored like i don't like school then well not everyone likes school. If you make studying fun bye making a game to study like memory or jeopardy or read find what type of books you like Ive read 3 books already in 2007 i think (last time i counted in 2006) i read 947 books. 2006 was a slow year for me I'm 12 and i read at a level of a collage student so hope i helped good bye.

just don't think that u r getting bored. Think of your future and plan according to that....so u can't get bored by planning ur future. This is the age to study and fix ur mindset for ur future. So don't tell that u r getting bored. If so listen some songs, read some books gain knowledge. One proverb is there : what we learnt is palm size, what we haven't learn is size of the sea...So try to learn something new...engage urself in good activities. Allot sometime for meditation, so that u can concentrate more. This is the remedy for getting bored. Have a good day.

Stick with it kid. Your parents must have told you this 10000s of times. Maybe it will make a difference coming from a friend on here.

I really really wish I could have my schooling again. I would be so much more appreciative of it......so please....for all the people on here who feel the same....make the most of it.

If you're bored, tell your teachers. Maybe you have special needs one way or another. Don't waste it friend. The chance don't come again. (Bad grammar....sorry) x

ALSO...AND YES I'M SHOUTING.....some people would ...and do....pay thousands of dollars for what you are getting for free. You have a moral obligation to make the most of it. But I suppose you won't understand this.

That depends why you are bored. If you don't want to learn, then that can't be helped. However, if you are in middle school and bored because you already know what the teacher is teaching, then hang in there. Believe me, high school is sooooooooooo much better.
By the way, I find doning homework an effective way to pass the time.

You want to know something that will really entertain you. Find out when your class will be watching a movie or TV. Buy a universal remote for tv's. enter the code for that tv and keep turnign the tv and vcr off. You have the class rolling and the teacher ready to body slam somebody. Trust me, I've done it, it's funny.

I would advise planning how you are going to make money after school without an education. Do real math! Figure out how much it costs to live in your area and then figure out what type of job it takes to break even... You will soon find that that boring education is more valuable than you thought!!

What are your interests? Talk to your parents and let them know that school is not holding your attention. That is of course unless this is an act of rebellion. In that case, I have to say suck it up. Take time to be a child and appreciate those days. Learn as much as you can. Sometimes we have to do the things we don't like to get to the things we do like.

This too shall pass. Students forever have been bored at school. Take it one day at a time and try to focus on the purpose - to get to graduation and then get on with the rest of your life and be able to be much more successful because you did stick with it when you were in school. Best of luck.
