Hi,

I am writing a sentence like this but I am not sure what tense to use.

The features of an item can only be changed by the person who created/creates the item.

which creates I should use and why?

I found that some people use created in this kind of situation and I feel that it is logical because the creation should happen in the past before there are any features to be changed. However. this sentence is a normal instruction and therefore. I think creates and has created are collected. help

I have two questions...

1) What would you rather be and why? A teacher, a lawyer, or a nurse? If you pick teacher, what grade... and subject... why?

2) Can you become a teacher, a nurse, or a lawyer if you go to the University of Notre Dame in Indiana?

Thanks for your help! :)

I have a 4 year old daughter. She will start primary school in 2008. And we are thinking of moving to Hammersmith, Barons Court, Earls court.... that area. Does anyone know of good primary schools that you can honestly recommend. A school with dissipline and morals... would be great. Thanks a lot for your suggestions...

I'm 25 and going back to college. I dropped out before because I changed my mind and didn't want to do my planned major. The problem is, I work during the day and now that I'm married, we count on my income and I can't quit right now to go back to school, so I would have to take night classes. And I don't think I have all my core classes finished so would I have to finish them first? And can you actually get a PR (public Relations) degree there? What about advertising? And they have nothing to do with my job now so I couldn't get help from my employer. (I'm a receptionist at a medical facility)

Here are a few lines,
"We hear the voices of the beast
As it shouts at us, as it tries to frighten us
As it tries to intimidate us
And we know the price is high, but the end is near"

The speech in question was delivered in South Africa near the end of the Apartheid era.

Does anyone have any ideas?

I'm contemplating going back to school (NYU to be exact) to finish up getting a B.F.A. degree. My intentions are partially career motivated but more than anything, I'd like to have the experience of attending a great university and achieving a bachelor's.

Has anyone graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and regretted it? Or, please share experiences. Thanks!

-I went to city college in summer to take Spanish 3 and Intermediate Algebra.
- I work freshman year at a restaurant as bus boy.
- did not play sports at school but took private tennis lessons.
- I speak french fluently and I am currently taking AP Spanish Lit. I took German 7-8 my junior year with 2 B's.
- I am president of two clubs (french and European)
- I am the first person in my family to go to college
- I am in AP calculus, AP Chem, AP Physics, and AP Span Lit.(being the only non-native speaker as stated in the letter of recommendation).
-weighted GPA 4.12 unweighted GPA 3.7
-SAT 1580 out of 2400 and ACT 23 composite
- went to France 12 times in summer
- I improved from Middle school having a 2.89 GPA in 8th grade to a 4.12 GPA . It's a sign of improvement right?
So is there anything that looks good there that college admissions might like from me?

I speak French fluently and I am the first person in my family to go to college. I have a weighted GPA of 4.12 academic GPA 3.7 . By the end of my senior I would have taken 13 exams passing 7 exams. I was the president of the French club and this year I am the president of the European Club. I played in the advanced Jazz band my junior year only because it was difficult( I played the piano). I took two other foreign languages at school. spanish 1-2,3-4,AP Language, this year AP Span lit.(only non-native in class), also took german 7-8 got a B both semesters(studied a lot over the summer). Language and music are my hobbies. I took private tennis lessons. I have a lot SAT of 1580 and ACT composite 23. I did 50 hours community service. Volunteered 150 hours as teacher's aide and outside work. I also went to Long Beach City college in the summer of my sophmore year to take Intermediate Algebra and Spanish 3. As a result I am in AP Span Lit and AP Calc this year. So will I be accepted ?
