I have a 4 year old daughter. She will start primary school in 2008. And we are thinking of moving to Hammersmith, Barons Court, Earls court.... that area. Does anyone know of good primary schools that you can honestly recommend. A school with dissipline and morals... would be great. Thanks a lot for your suggestions...

I used to go to St Thomas' in Fulham. I have no idea if the school is still there, though - I moved away some time ago.

I suggest that you try Church schools. They are usually the only ones that have the morals, although I am wondering if they are allowed to provide the discipline any more.

St Thomas' was a Roman Catholic School and while I am no longer a church person, I thank goodness that I was taught this way.

More recently when my children went to a Catholic School in Suffolk, there was a non-catholic teacher that sent his son to the same school. When speaking to him he told me that it is the best way for a child to learn because it is a whole-being environment - but he also said that he couldn't cope with it as an environment in which to work!

Good for you to look for a good school with correct morals for your daughter. I wish you well!
