I have completed my highschool education through a correspondence school. I did it mail and telephone because I did not have the internet at the time, but the same school does it online also. The school I used and got my diploma from is now Penn Foster, it was Thompson when I took the course. I don't know much about the other schools, but I know that Penn Foster is accredited, so your diploma means just as much as if you had went to public highschool and received it.

Try contacting Northstar Academy. They are established and accredited. Although they target Christian high school students you still might get a diploma from them but I don't know since it sounds like you have so few credits left to acquire. Just explain your situation. I know a student there who is very happy with being able to work at her own pace and have a year to complete the credits. The courses are not too expensive, in fact, I think NSA supplies all the materials and you send them back at the end of the year.

My daughter has just completed her on-line high school program, so I know it's possible. There are a number of such programs; search through Yahoo or Google, but watch out for scams.
