We have some time between flights and either wanted to go to Calle Ocho or Miami Beach and go to a nice restaurant. It does not have to be a latin or hispanic restaurant, just a very nice one possibly at Miami Beach.
Would you have any good suggestions. We have 8 hours between flights. Do you think its crazy or should we just wait at MIA a long time. We thought, as soon as the flt lands we could grab a cab or shuttle and go somewhere for awhile and relax. MIA is not a very relaxing atmosphere, in my book. thank you for your kind help.

Why is it that every Krispy Kreme store I've ever seen has closed down, and the only place you can get them is at skeevy gas stations and 711's. Did I miss something?

Have you ever been in a restaurant that will give out single packed disposable wet towel (NOT Wet Nap) after dinner? If so, please give name and location of the restaurant! Thanks!!!

I am looking for suggestions like Chuck E Cheese or something similur to that. I already had my three year old sons party at Chuck E Cheese. Now my daughter is turning two and it is too hot to have a party outside at the park or whatever. I am just looking for something that would keep them entertained and also offer food. I didn't realize I was going to offend anyone with my question!!! No, I won't apologize for having these beautiful babies.

Two questions that I would like to have answered by real service industry people and not by wiseguys.

One- So the restaurant is busy like it usually is, but my drink glass is always empty and I never see my waiter. How do I know if they are understaffed and it's not his fault, or he is just being lazy and my tip should reflect thusly.

Two- Do servers like it when customers they don't know call them by name?

Real servers only please, no wiseguys

You know the deal. Relatives visiting from out of state, coming to see Disneyland. They want me to come down from LA to take them to a "cool" place to eat. I need someplace family friendly, mid range pricing, impressive to mid-westerners. Anaheim or Orange... maybe in the Grove or something.... What can you tell me?
