there is a kid gymnasium called "my gym" over by Bruceville Rd and Sheldon Rd. (in Sac.) i know they host birthday parties for little kids. OR you could try a byer's gym- another place for kids to run around or something....

I missed what happened before this thread... but to answer your question...
My son is also turning two on the 28th yay! so we live in Massachusetts and decided to take him to an childrens amusment park call storyland in NH. I feel that something that focuses on the child having fun is so much more important then having a long drawn out party. Half the time the kid is either crying or sleeping. Do some thing that will keep both of your children happy and having fun. And by all means inexpensive. Save the huge hoopla for the big 5 b-day. IMO...

Why would people get pissy abut that guestion? Retart's.I have a 4 yr & a 2yr old.We have been to a b-day party recently at Marine World, Valaho it was fun but hot...& expensive..I'd go with a water park if there are older kids. But Mc donalds or Del Taco (only if they have the indoor play area) is nice for a younger child and by far much cheaper..you can purchas party packs that feed about 8 to 10 kids at a discounted rate & they usually throw in a cake. What child doesnt like bean buritos or shakes & fries?and there is aircondition!

I missed your first question, but angry people bite...lol
on to answers....I think for a two year old a fun day would be a few hours at one of those kids gym type places. A lot of them have party rooms you can rent. The kids can climb and tumble to their hearts content in an air conditioned, supervised atmosphere.
Also, since the weather is warm, what about the local pool? You can BBQ while the kids get a fun one hour lesson from certified instructors. The Mom's will love it too. Call your local parks and recreation dept. to ask about that.

If you don't mind having it at home. You could pick up happy meals at McDonald's or kids meals from somewhere else. Bring it home for the kids to eat and then open presents. If you have some older children attending, play some simple games. At 2 yrs old, she won't mind where it's held. Just make sure the princess knows its her special day!!
My nephew who is 3 had a blast splashing around in a plastic little kiddie pool at his party.
Have Fun!

If you have a Chick fil a close by take the kids there. YOu dont have to clean up, and for a fast fod restaruant the food is the best quality out there. They have great playgrounds and most of them I see are enclosed so the kids don't over heat

here's something fun and fairly inexpensive....
if you, youre parents, or a friend have a big yard, rent a bounce around and just order pizza! kids love jumping around aimlessly!
chuck-e-cheese is SO freaking expensive, but kids eat that crap up. so thats a no fail there.

My son will be two coming up here soon, you dont have to go all fancy, your child is to young to remember this birthday, but do something he or she will enjoy; we are kaing my son to the aquarium, and the circus as a gift from his grandmother, do something FOR her, not for you
